Counseling Center Staff

Lori began her career at The Work Group in 1996 and took the  helm as Executive Director in 2002. In the last decade, Lori has expanded The Work Group's education and workforce development programming to include an a resale boutique retail training center and counseling. 

Lori serves on numerous national, local, community, civic, and business committees and boards. Lori has been honored by the Campbell Soup Company with the Hometown Hero Awards and by the Girl Scouts of America as a Women of Distinction. She holds a Master's Degree in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University.

Casey Johnson was originally born in Michigan and moved to New Jersey as a young teenager. He received his Bachelor's degree in Business, from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. In 2017, Casey graduated from Rutgers University with a Master's degree in Social Work. 

After graduating, Casey became a License Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor and well as a Licensed Social Worker. Casey’s therapeutic approaches include Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Systems, as well as Trauma-informed care.

Through his career, Casey has worked in many capacities such as providing clinical services, overseeing a municipal court advocacy program and overseeing clinical programs. 

Casey joined The Work Group team in June of 2020.  Casey is grateful to be a team member of The Work Group and is excited to positively impact the lives of others.
